Dad: "This is Tom!"

Charlie-Girl: "Hi Dad!"

Dad: "No. This is TOM."

Charlie-Girl: "...Hi Dad."

Dad: "Not DON, Tom!"

Charlie-Girl: "DAD! Hi DAD. Not Don or TOM, Dad!"

Dad: "Oh, yeah, hi!"

Apparently, on my dad's special day, turning another year older, he is going to celebrate by embracing hearing loss.

Even still, I sure do love him!
